Is MyTrustCredit a bank?

No — MyTrustCredit is a KPKT-licensed moneylender (WL1234/5678), not a bank. We lend our own money directly to qualifying Malaysians under the Moneylenders Act 1951.

What's the interest rate?

Our rates range from 4% p.a. to 12% p.a. (flat), well within the Moneylenders Act cap, depending on your credit profile, loan size, and tenure. Your final rate is shown after underwriting.

Will checking affect my credit score?

No. Filling out our form does not trigger a credit bureau pull. Only when you proceed with the formal application does MyTrustCredit run a credit check with your explicit consent.

Are there any hidden fees?

No upfront fees ever. MyTrustCredit's processing fee (typically RM 50–100) is disclosed upfront in your Letter of Offer and deducted from disbursement — never paid in advance.

How fast can I get the money?

We typically decide within 24 working hours. If approved, disbursement is usually 1–3 working days. Same-day disbursement is possible for applications completed before 2 PM.

How is my data protected?

All personal data is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and stored in Malaysia / Singapore data centers per PDPA 2010. We never sell your data. You can withdraw consent or request deletion anytime.

Can I apply with bad credit or no CTOS score?

Yes. MyTrustCredit considers applicants with limited or low CTOS scores. Income and employment matter more than credit history for small loans.

What documents will I need?

For the initial application — none. We only ask for basic details. After our loan officer reaches out, they'll request MyKad, payslip, and bank statement via WhatsApp as part of MyTrustCredit's underwriting.

How does the cashback work?

Get 0.5% cashback automatically on every approved loan. Refer 30 friends via WhatsApp and unlock a 1.5% bonus tier. Cashback is paid within 14 days of disbursement.

How is MyTrustCredit different from an Ah Long?

Ah Long are illegal and unregulated. MyTrustCredit holds KPKT moneylender licence WL1234/5678, operates under the Moneylenders Act 1951, has a registered office in KL, and follows Malaysian consumer-credit law.
